The Airoil-Flaregas Triboliter is used where electrical ignition is either unsuitable, not available or inconvenient.

The Triboliter Ignitor is a unique mechanical device suitable for igniting gas/ air mixtures. It is based on a robust ceramic industrial flint. This flint is rubbed over the surface of a steel striker and, in doing so, causes a series of sparks which ignite the gas/air mixture.

The Triboliter Ignitor is extremely easy to use. The lockable safety pin is first removed and the plunger pulled out to the limit of its travel. The plunger is then struck sharply by hand to cause a spark and ignite the flammable gas/ air mixture.
